Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant ( Beirut / Zahle )

GENERAL KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and prepare surveys, and organise data collection, in line with desired performance indicators and objectives.
- Lead and support data collection from beneficiary households
- Draft M&E reports, based on data collected and promote lessons learnt through meetings with Shelter team
- Develop and maintain effective records on project monitoring
- Maintain transparent, honest and supportive communication with colleagues, communities, beneficiaries and donors.
- Be flexible, willing to assist in other areas of work as relevant and needed.
SPECIFIC REPONSIBILITIES
- Support data collection and communication of findings for:
- Weatherproofing and minor repairs hand-over survey (and 3 months survey)
- Rehabilitation of residential sub-standard buildings hand-over survey (and 3 months survey)
- Weatherproofing in informal settlements
in the Bekaa Valley (3-5 months).
- Lead the data collection, report writing and communication of findings for:
- Weatherproofing and minor report hand-over survey and 3 months survey
- Rehabilitation of residential sub-standard buildings hand-over survey and 3 months survey
- Elderly interventions in informal settlements
in Beirut / Mt Lebanon (3-5 months).
QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE:
- Statistical analysis
- Information management
- Excellent computer skills (Word & excel).
- Good report writing skills.
- Good oral and written communication
-At least 2 years related professional experience.
-Experience conducting surveys or doing analysis.
- Experience writing in English.
- Clear communicator, skilled in oral and written communication
- Excellent capacity to sensibly respond to beneficiary questions and complaints.
- Able to oversee multiple tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Aptitude for community mobilization and capacity-building.
- Ability to cooperate with a team
- Flexible in working hours and willing to work in remote areas.
- Ability to facilitate programme and community interactions regardless of ethnicity, status, gender, origin or affiliation.
