Medair Lebanon is a programme dealing predominantly with the needs of Syrian refugees and their Lebanese host communities since 2012. The main activities are in the Bekaa Valley with small scale interventions in Mount Lebanon. Medair Lebanon operates in the sectors of shelter, health, and humanitarian mapping, formerly WASH, as well as M&E and Information Management. The main field office is in Zahle, while the capital office is in Hazmieh (Beirut).

The other is funded by the EU MADAD Fund and CDB, and aims to improve the well-being and resilience of Syrian refugees and Lebanese women, girls, men and boys (WGMB) affected by conflict and sexual gender-based violence (SGBV).

The Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant is responsible for: quantitative and qualitative data collection in the clinics and settlements from among Syrian refugees and vulnerable Lebanese; data cleaning; data analysis and communication; and maintenance of data collection hardware. Shelter Officer will be responsible for assessing the SSB (sub-standard) non-residential building’s needs, in order to design and implement dignified shelter interventions to improve the safety, security and privacy of residents and to raise their living conditions to agreed minimum standards.
Shelter Officer will also be responsible to assess needs for Site Improvement inside informal settlements (IS) after emergency like flooding, fire etc. (e.g. site clearance, levelling, gravelling, dismantling) with a contractor led approach.
