Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
The responsibilities and tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Create and execute an outreach strategy for the SPARK programme including development and coordination of promo materials for various target groups including prospective students and businesses;
- Cooperate with other (I)NGOs to promote SPARK activities;
- Coordinate response to donor requests on visibility and access to beneficiaries (movie making, interviews with beneficiaries);
- Collect stories that can be used for the SPARK newsletter, website, Facebook page or other office-wide or organization-wide communication;
- Collaborate on social media promotion, increasing interactivity and storytelling
- Organize events (award, graduation ceremonies…)
- Develop and maintains a network of journalists.
- Assist with other more general communication activities
- Other communication tasks as required.
Requirements and Skills
- University diploma in a relevant field
- Excellent English and Arabic language skills
- A Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a Communication, PR or Journalistic role, preferably in humanitarian aid and/or development cooperation
- Proven editing and writing skills
- Social media knowledge and experience are essential; in particular, digital advocacy
- Familiarity with Google Drive/Docs/Analytics/SEO/Ad words etc.
- Skills in MS Office, Mailchimp, Wordpress, and preferably: InDesign, and Photoshop
- Good communication and social skills and the ability to work in a multicultural setting
- Proven organisational skills and the ability to work independently
- Lebanese nationality only
SPARK Offers
- Remuneration based on experience between 1.200 USD - 1.600 USD gross per month;
