Skoun- Lebanese Addictions Center is looking to recruit a full time Executive Director with a proven track record in organizational growth and development.

 

ED Main Responsibilities                                                               

Strategic

  • Maintain Skoun mission, values and strategic vision
  • Ensure Skoun is positioned as the leader in substance use prevention and treatment, and drug policy reform
  • Develop the strategic plan and oversee its implementation
  • Develop strategic partnerships for development and fundraising
  • Ensure Skoun financial growth and sustainability
  • Ensure and maintain good governance structure and system

 

Operational

  • Oversee the performance of all departments
  • Approve the action plan of all departments and ensure its alignment with the strategic plan
  • Approve the communication plan, external communication (message and content), publications and educational material
  • Oversee the ongoing projects and the grant funded projects
  • Set, monitor and manage Skoun budget and cash flow
  • Approve all funding proposals selection and content
  • Ensure an ongoing grants pipeline and efficient donors’ management
  • Develop Skoun annual report and validate the annual financial report

 

People Management

  • Recruit and evaluate the performance of senior managers
  • Approve the recruitment, promotion and termination of all staff
  • Ensure senior managers and frontline staff are provided with professional development opportunities

 

Requirements

  • Education: Masters degree in Business Administration, humanities, science or any related degree
  • Experience: 10 to 12 years of experience in a senior position from either not for profit or corporate sector
  • Languages: Excellent written and spoken English, proficiency in Arabic, French is a plus
  • Competencies: Leadership, strategic thinking, business acumen, team work, communication, ethics, integrity and confidentiality.
