We are searching for…

A consultant to facilitate a one-day reflection for a project entitled “Diwan” to take place on August 30, and 31, 2018. The day will be divided between team building activities and reflection on project activities.

Project Brief

In response to the challenges present in the context of Wadi Khaled, Search is implementing a peace building and stabilization project “Diwan” funded by the Canadian department for trade and Development. Diwan seeks to ensure local decision-making processes are more

inclusive and participatory in order to ensure that development is more sustainable,

equitable and accountable .The project is expected to run for a period of 24 months, from

February 2017 to January 2019.

The Ultimate Outcome of this project is to ensure that development in Wadi Khaled is

inclusive. The Intermediate Outcome is that local leaders and community members develop

respectful relationships with one another, and thereby collaborate more effectively to

promote future development and stability.

 

Your contribution

The roles and responsibilities will include:

 

  1. Develop the methodology of the reflection day in collaboration with Search’s Design, Monitoring & Evaluation Regional Specialist; Search’s Design, Monitoring & Evaluation Manager as well as the implementing team of project;
  2. Facilitate a one and a half-day reflection session with Search’s project team based on the agreed upon methodology;

You are…

Search Lebanon seeks an experienced consultant with the following qualifications:

 

  • Excellent facilitation skills with a proven track record of facilitating dialogue processes;
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience;
  • Excellent communication skills in Arabic and in English;
  • Excellent time management skills;
  • Good understanding of Wadi Khaled context;
  • Experience in Monitoring and Evaluation is preferable.
