We are looking for a dynamic and well connected strategic communication expert to support the EU Delegation in all communication and press activities. This includes the development of a new strategic communication strategy and advice on all aspects of strategic communication and public diplomacy of the Delegation, planning and implementation. The candidate must be well connected locally and have a thorough knowledge of social media (including some technical knowledge), experience in the management of social media channels (twitter, facebook, blogs) and a good knowledge of local media consumption patterns. He/she must have an excellent command of English and Arabic (ideally also French) to be able to deliver high quality editorial input for speeches, press releases, forewords and other publications. He/she will be tasked with coordinating all external communication activities (including coordination between various parties) and be responsible for EU visibility.
She/Hewill also serve as advisor to the Head of Delegation and her staff with regards to communications and take the lead in organising outreach events.
