Responsibilities:

Coordination:

Coordinate the implementation of assigned ANECD initiatives in collaboration with the ANECD senior Coordinator through regular meetings and milestone planning.

Actively participate in the network’s strategic planning sessions every three years, contributing feedback and ensuring alignment with ANECD strategy.

Collaborate with the ANECD Senior Coordinator and team to develop and maintain the ANECD theory of change.

Report to the ANECD Senior Coordinator and MEAL Coordinator on project progress and budget management.

Develop and implement contingency plans for financial challenges encountered during ANECD activities.

Assist in writing progress narrative reports for funders and final project reports.

Generate contracts, TORs, and expense claims for ANECD consultants.

Attend meetings with donors, partners, and stakeholders, documenting minutes and action points for the ANECD monthly report.

Governance:

Support the coordination of ANECD General Assembly and executive committee meetings, including planning, facilitation, and documentation.

Act as a focal point for responding to members’ inquiries and requests related to ANECD interventions.

ECD Regional Research Committee (AWGR-EC):

Assist in the preparation and implementation of AWGR-EC Regional meetings.

Attend AWGR-EC regional meetings.

Tasks related to ECD National Committees:

Allocate support budget to national networks and facilitate communication with national focal persons.

Monitor the establishment of MOUs with newly established national networks.

Attend National Networks Establishment Meetings and review national networks' action plans and expenditures.

Conduct regular meetings with national networks for follow-up and reporting.

Tasks related to Advocacy and Communication:

Review advocacy strategies and campaigns proposed by the communication coordinator in alignment with ANECD strategy.

Support communication team in implementing advocacy campaigns and providing content.

Ensure adherence to ANECD writing guidelines and accurate information on communication channels.

Participate in setting the monthly newsletter components and review drafts.

Coordinate with the communication department to disseminate research reports and policy briefs.

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Master's preferred).

Experience: 3-5 years in project coordination, preferably in Early Childhood Development.

Skills: Strong coordination, communication, budget management, and organizational skills.

Knowledge: Understanding of Early Childhood Development principles, strategic planning, and MEAL frameworks.

Language Skills: Proficiency in English and Arabic.

Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
