Business Start-up Trainer Job Description:

 

Working Hours: 3 hours of In-Person training for a total of 8 days of Micro Business Training sessions. 

 

Job Summary: In this job, the Business Development trainer would be responsible for facilitating and providing training materials to the targeted youth on the Micro Business start-up.

He/She will make sure that the program goals are effectively understood and achieved as will be explained by Anera’s team.

He/she should possess a keen eye for spotting potential opportunities and ensuring connections are made across the training groups.

 

Responsibilities: 

- Attends the ToT for the training material development as will be organized and implemented by Anera.

- Provide the training to youth enrolled in Anera’s Competency-Based Training and Cash for work Program.

- Plans effectively and efficiently the training objectives, designs the flow of the session, chooses interactive methods, tests output and evaluates the session’s objectives and learning outcomes.

- Submitts all financial and legal documents as requested by the organization for a proper payment mechanism with the Management approval.

- Ensures the safety of participants by supervising and using safe methods at all times as communicated by Anera’s rules and regulations.

- Appreciates the youth/team efforts and interaction/engagement, and considers the wellbeing and progress of the participants.

- Delivers a 3 hours Business Development Training for a total of 8 days per batch 

 

Job Requirements: 

  • Up to 3 years working experience in preparing and conducting Training.
  • He/she has a demonstrable understanding of Micro Business Development Training Material
  • Work experience in a NGO is a plus.

 

Competencies:

  • Ability to work with diverse community groups.
  • Ability to conduct training around micro business development.
  • Possesses a strong Business ability and acumen.
  • Possesses a strong self-discipline and advanced organizational behavior approach

 

Note: Please be advised that the compensation for this position will be determined by the deliverables per session, amounting to $40 per session over an 8-day period (totaling $320). There will be two batches (i.e. 16 days), resulting in a combined total of 640$. Furthermore, if the trainer is qualified to serve as an incubation coach, an additional monthly salary of $250 will be provided over a period of 2 months.
