About the program:
LLWB, in partnership with GIZ (Gesellschaft fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit), has initiated EBDA3 which aims to provide comprehensive support to 25 women led MSMEs (Micro Small and Medium Enterprises) in Southern Baalbek and Hasbaya, Lebanon.
Scope of Consultancy:
LLWB is seeking to hire 2 trainers to conduct 25 training sessions each, for the MSMEs in the selected areas of Hasbaya or Southern Baalbek, focusing solely on energy efficiency practices. Specific tasks include:
• Providing training on renewable energy sources and their integration into business operations, using the content provided by LLWB.
• Buidling the capacities of participants on sustainable technology adoption for energy conservation.
• Offering guidance on waste management techniques to minimize energy consumption.
Timeline:
The assignment is expected to take place in June, July, and August 2024.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess:
• Proven experience in energy efficiency training.
• Relevant certifications in renewable energy or sustainable technology.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Deliverables:
- Implementation of training sessions conducted in English and/ or Arabic, based on participants language.
- Distribution of handouts in both Arabic and English to ensure accessibility for all project stakeholders.
- Administration of pre-post tests to participants in Arabic and/ or English by the trainer utilizing content provided by LLWB and sharing raw data for LLWB.
- Trainer needs to also deliver the evaluation forms completed by participants on the training sessions, with the raw data
- Submission of a detailed final report in English, including outcomes of the activities with detailed action plan for the MSMEs with recommendations to upscale their energy efficiency.
- Development of a concise article, highlighting key success stories of the trainer intervention, focusing on notable achievements and impacts.
