Scope of responsibility:

Carrying out cleaning activities in the mission according to MSF standards and procedures in order to ensure hygiene and disinfection of materials and surfaces.

Function responsibilities include:

• Performing tasks related to hygiene and disinfection according to protocols applied in the service, knowing, and applying specific hygiene protocols and security rules. This includes but are not limited to the following: 
  • Maintaining clean and disinfected, the infrastructures allocated to his/her position including the furniture, doors, walls and floor and some medical material (rooms of patients, of consultation, laboratory, operating theatre, delivery room, mortuary, waiting room, staff room, storage room, kitchen, bathroom, and latrines) applying specific protocols and using the tools and equipment provided. Cleaning floors, equipment, beds, toilets, and showers according to protocols and schedule
  • Collecting and evacuating waste produced by medical structures to the designated site, previously sorted by medical staff and emptying out dustbins as often as necessary to ensure an efficient quality of care and safe environment.
  • Raising awareness on hygiene and sanitation measures amongst patients, visitors, staff, mothers to correctly use the water distribution points, latrines, hand washing points and washing areas in collaboration with the nursing and health promotion team.
  • Filling all water containers every morning (drinking water and hand washing points) and refilling when half full and for hand washing, ensuring soap is available.
  • Installing mosquito nets as required for in-patient beds and carrying out laundry activities according to protocols.
• Ensuring proper use, storage and maintenance of the equipment and tools provided. Ensuring availability of hygiene and sanitation products and draws up orders for on-going needs.
• Reporting any repair or maintenance work needed related to hygiene to the supervisor, as well as any relevant information related to his/her responsibilities.

Specific Accountabilities

• Applying hygiene tasks according to IPC (Intervention Protection and Control) standards and MSF protocols.
• Dusting and cleaning ceiling vents, surfaces, and windows regularly.
• According to need, dusting and cleaning window sills to remove dirt duildups.
• Regularly checking toilets for clean up purposes.
• Scrubing sinks and toilets to ensure hygiene.
• Restocking toilet consumables like toilet papers, paper hand towels, and liquid soap.
• Reporting repairs and replacements during work.
• Making sure that products are stored in a safe and clean way.
• Maintaing and upkeeing all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products.
• Cleaning kitchen areas, including doors and the refrigerator from outside.
• Regulalry, cleaning all kitchen electric and non-electric gadgets.
• Applying primary disenfection to usable medical equipment, sending them to Arsal, and receiving them back.
• Collecting dirty linens, sending them to Arsal for cleaning and receiving them back.
• Participating in the preparation and reception process of the monthly hygiene orders.
• Regulalry emptying waste bins and disposing trash containers in all rooms.
• Participating in teamwork activities and collaborating with other team members.
• Upon request, filling gaps to ensure smooth operations.
• Attending regular meetings and reporting in case of any irregularities.
• Attending offered training workshops to improve skills and abilities.

Requirements

Education          Essential: Arabic literacy (ability to read and write).

Desirable: Hygiene courses.

Experience          Desirable: Previous hygiene experience with a local or international NGO.

Languages          Essential: Full professional to Limited professional proficiency of the Arabic Language (to be coherent with the application).

Desirable: Proficiency of the English language at any level.

- نطاق المسؤولية:

القيام بأنشطة التنظيف في البعثة وفقًا لمعايير وإجراءات منظمة أطباء بلا حدود لضمان النظافة والتطهير للمواد والاسطح.

- تتضمن المسؤوليات الوظيفية ما يلي:

- تنفيذ المهام المتعلقة بالنظافة والتطهير وفقًا للبروتوكولات المطبقة في الخدمة ومعرفة وتطبيق البروتوكولات الخاصة بالنظافة وقواعد الأمان. يشمل ذلك على سبيل المثال لا الحصر ما يلي:  

- الحفاظ على نظافة وتطهير المنشآت المخصصة لموقع عمله، بما في ذلك الأثاث والأبواب والجدران والأرضيات وبعض المواد الطبية (غرف المرضى، والاستشارات، والمختبرات، وقاعة العمليات، وغرفة الولادة، والمشرحة، وغرفة الانتظار، وغرفة الموظفين وغرفة التخزين والمطبخ والحمامات والمراحيض) وفقاً للبروتوكولات المحددة واستخدام الأدوات والمعدات المتوفرة. تنظيف الأرضيات والمعدات والأسرة والمراحيض واحواض الاستحمام حسب البروتوكولات والجدول الزمني المعمول بها.

 - جمع وإخلاء النفايات الناتجة عن العمليات الطبية إلى الموقع المحدد، والذي تم فرزها مسبقًا بواسطة الطاقم الطبي وإفراغ صناديق القمامة كلما كان ذلك ضروريًا لضمان جودة وفاعلية الرعاية المقدمة اضافةً الى ضمان وجود بيئة آمنة.

 - رفع مستوى الوعي حول تدابير النظافة والتعقيم الصحي بين المرضى والزوار والموظفين والأمهات بهدف استخدام نقاط توزيع المياه والمراحيض ونقاط غسل اليدين ومناطق الغسيل بشكل صحيح بالتعاون مع فريق التمريض والتوعية الصحية.

 - ملء جميع أوعية المياه كل صباح (مياه الشرب ونقاط غسل اليدين) وإعادة تعبئتها عندما تكون نصف ممتلئة، مع التأكد من توفر الصابون.

- تركيب الناموسيات على النحو المطلوب لأسرة المرضى الداخليين والقيام بأنشطة الغسيل حسب البروتوكولات.    

- ضمان حسن استخدام وتخزين وصيانة المعدات والأدوات المقدمة. ضمان توفر منتجات النظافة والصرف الصحي، وإعداد الطلبات للاحتياجات المستمرة.

 - الإبلاغ عن أي أعمال إصلاح أو صيانة مطلوبة تتعلق بالنظافة للمشرف، بالإضافة إلى أي معلومات ذات صلة تتعلق بمسؤولياته.

- أنشطة محددة:

- تنفيذ مهام النظافة وفقًا لمعايير التدخل والحماية والتحكم وبروتوكولات منظمة أطباء بلا حدود.

- تنظيف فتحات الاسقف والأسطح والنوافذ بانتظام.

- حسب الحاجة، تنظيف حواف النوافذ لإزالة تراكمات الأوساخ.

- فحص المراحيض بانتظام لأغراض التنظيف.

- تنظيف المغاسل والمراحيض لضمان النظافة.

- إعادة تزويد اللوازم الصحية في المراحيض مثل الأوراق الناعمة والمناشف الورقية والصابون السائل.

- الإبلاغ عن أية أعمال إصلاح أو استبدال أثناء العمل.

- التأكد من تخزين المنتجات بطريقة آمنة ونظيفة.

- الحفاظ على جميع معدات التنظيف واللوازم والمنتجات.

- تنظيف مناطق المطبخ، بما في ذلك الأبواب والثلاجة من الخارج بانتظام.

- تنظيف جميع أدوات المطبخ الكهربائية وغير الكهربائية بانتظام.

- تطبيق التطهير الأولي على المعدات الطبية القابلة للاستخدام، وإرسالها إلى عرسال، واستلامها مرة أخرى.

- جمع الأغطية القذرة، وإرسالها إلى عرسال للتنظيف واستلامها مرة أخرى.

- المشاركة في عملية تحضير واستقبال طلبات مواد التنظيف الشهرية.

- تفريغ سلات القمامة بانتظام والتخلص من حاويات القمامة في جميع الغرف.

- المشاركة في أنشطة العمل الجماعي والتعاون مع أعضاء الفريق الآخرين.

- عند الطلب، ملء الفجوات لضمان سير العمل بسلاسة.

- حضور الاجتماعات الدورية والإبلاغ في حالة عدم الانتظام.

- حضور ورش العمل التدريبية المقدمة لتحسين المهارات والقدرات.

المتطلبات:

التعليم:    أساسي: القدرة على القراءة والكتابة باللغة العربية.

            مرغوب فيه: دورات في النظافة.

الخبرة:    مرغوب فيه: خبرة سابقة في مجال النظافة مع منظمة غير حكومية محلية او دولية.

اللغات:    أساسي: اجادة كاملة الى اجادة محدودة باللغة العربية (لتكون ملائمة ومتناسقة مع الطلب). 

                  مرغوب فيه: اجادة اللغة الإنجليزية (أي مستوى).
