Strategic and Management Consultant

Project Background:

The USAID/Lebanon Trade and Investment Facilitation (TIF) Activity will facilitate the export of Lebanese goods and services to generate foreign exchange through investments and business enabling environment reform that simultaneously promote job creation, income generation, and improved livelihoods throughout the country. TIF has three objectives:

1) Increased exports of Lebanese goods and services,

2) Investment facilitation leading to increased domestic investment,

3) Improved business and investment enabling environment.

TIF seeks to hire a Short-Term Technical Advisor (STTA) to support strategy and project design, including delivery and execution. The advisor will have experience with strategic design thinking and end-to-end process development necessary to research, envision, organize and support implementation.

Desired Qualifications and Requirements

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in strategic design thinking and process improvement and business implementation (strategic and management consulting).
• Experience in critical thinking and problem-solving methodologies.
• Superior research and analytical skills.
• Excellent communications skills, specifically in coordinating between diverse groups.
• Knowledgeable about Lebanon’s industry sectors and best practice enterprise ecosystems.
• Strong technical skills in management and business analysis.
