Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist

MENA Rosa is the first and only regional network dedicated to women in all their diversity (partners of PLHIV, abused and battered women, sex workers, drug users, refugees and migrants, prisoners, divorced women, single mothers, women with special needs, domestic workers, girls and adolescents, orphans, homeless women and girls, lesbians, trans women, bi-sexual and queers.), in particular women living with and affected by the HIV in the Middle East and North Africa.

MENA Rosa’s mission is to support and empower women and girls in their diversity, those living with HIV, women and girls at high risk of infection: as well as their families and partners through the development of their leadership, the promotion of effective participation in response, advocacy, networking, awareness-raising, and resource mobilization to ensure their rights, universal and equitable access to care, treatment, support, prevention and better quality of life.

Position Tasks and Responsibilities:

1-Data Collection and Sharing:

-Ensure baseline data collection is conducted at the start of the project,

-Collect data regularly for all activities against pre-set indicators and capture the effectiveness of the project including lessons learned and success stories; and

-Liaise with relevant staff and MENA Rosa Focal Points to ensure regular and timely information flow.

2-Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Framework: 

-Design and implement a MEL framework to strengthen MENA Rosa’s approach to MEL, including adoption of standardized indicators, indicator tracking tools, evaluation approaches and learning process,

-Lead on the design of the log frame and log frame indicators, including the development of outputs and outcomes, as well as projections and assumptions,

-Provide additional analysis of data and information on different variables when needed,

-Lead on the preparation and review of MEL work plans, and annual, midterm and end-of-year reviews,

-Design and develop monitoring and evaluation guidelines and tools in a participatory manner; and

-Monitor all project activities and progress towards achieving the project output.

3- Reporting:

- Design, in conjunction with MENA Rosa Secretariat, a comprehensive reporting system across the program to ensure consistency and compatibility of information formats,

-Assist in drafting the annual final report according to donor’s requirements; and

-Share and discuss MEL findings and compiled data with relevant program staff.

4-Training:

-Develop and implement a training session to MENA Rosa Secretariat in regards of MEL process and different components.
