Civil Engineering Internship / Volunteer

The assigned engineer will be involved in an urban area rehabilitation project aiming to improve living conditions in one of the neighborhoods in Burj Hammoud. 

Responsibilities of the selected person include the following:

• Conducting field visits in Burj Hammoud area to asses and make notes of the problems in the selected area on the street and building level which includes:

1. Assessment of the exterior building conditions.
2. Assessment of the communal spaces.
3. Assessment of the building connections and infrastructure.
4. Assessment of the street pathologies.

• The assessment will be conducted using a specialized tool.
• Reporting the mistakes and problems related to the assessed area.
• Working on collected data together with the project team.

Working Schedule:

• Flexible working hours with taking into consideration university and other related requirements, preferably 9:00 am till 2:00 pm
• 2-3 days per week for the period of 2 months
