Beirut Street Festival
The BEIRUT STREET FESTIVAL proposes to generate a real dialogue between the public and the artists, as well as between many cultures. Professional European, Arab and Lebanese streets companies will participate all in this festival creating a cosmopolitan creative artistic atmosphere in the city.
The Beirut Street Festival was presented for the first time in Beirut from the 10th of July till the 21st of September 2002. Its main theme was to create a cultural atmosphere in the streets of the city.
الأهداف العامة:
To present performances specially designed for open-air spaces
To introduce high-quality manifestations accessible to all kinds of audiences
To create, for a certain period, an unconventional atmosphere in the streets
To present to the Lebanese audience contemporary European and other foreign artists and performances
To participate in the development of the Lebanese cultural scene by encouraging one more type of art, street performances
