Threads of Peace commonly known as House of Peace (HOPe)

House of Peace (HOPe), officially registered as Threads of Peace in 2019, is a non-governmental social peacebuilding organisation based in Lebanon. HOPe aims through different activities to enhance social peace within local communities by shifting perceptions; supporting and connecting community-based initiatives and dialogue spaces; advancing the principles of conflict sensitivity; and voicing grassroots perspectives, stories and aspirations. Moreover, HOPe provides humanitarian workers and volunteers from different NGOs with self-care activities that allow them to deal with the burdens and traumas they face in the field.

The social peace unit is inviting organizations to apply for this opportunity to provide social peace trainings to their own beneficiaries/participants to engage them in systematic social peace workshop.
Applied with local community groups (refugee and host), different age groups preferably same generation, 12 – 15 participants per workshop.

CALL FOR APPLICANTS for Conflict Sensitivity Trainings

The Conflict Sensitivity unit is inviting local NGOs, INGOs, Social Initiatives, and Volunteer Groups from all over Lebanon to apply for attending a Conflict Sensitivity Training.

These trainings are provided for each organization/Group individually, the minimum number of participants is 8 and the maximum is 15, and up to 2 groups(trainings) per organization.

The Project Coordinator is part of the Social Peace Unit that is entrusted with supporting the development of community-based initiatives.
S/He will Lead the development of community-based initiatives in alignment with the framework established by FSGT in Palestine.
Coordinate and oversee project activities, ensuring they adhere to the foundation set by FSGT, fostering collaboration in the process.
Collaborate with team members to build upon the foundation provided by FSGT, creating a shared basis for our collective work.

The conflict sensitivity Co-Trainer is part of the program team and the CS Unit that is entrusted with advancing the principles of conflict sensitivity and mainstreaming it within HOPe and with HOPe’s partners. The officer will be a CS co-trainer supporting in delivering and facilitating CS trainings, taking care of the procurement procedures, and preparing trainings’ reports.
