Educational Program For Disabled Children

This project is an educational programme, which will be provided to children with special needs, mainly to those with hearing and speech impairment, aged between 3 to 15 years old. It is a programme of regular education , smilar to the official curriculum, with more focus on reading and key pronunciation .
The explanation techniques and trainings will be done by using hearing aid equipment.
This projects objective is to provide these children with education , which will equip them with tools for better communication and chances for a better future, to be able to join schools and vocational training

الأهداف العامة:

- To provide education for children with special needs, especially those with hearing and speech impairment, work on integrating them into their surrounding by equipping them with communication tools. - To provide these children with capacities that enable them to be active participants in their surroundings, to have the ability to join regular schools or vocational training to communicate with other children when they leave the house to pay outdoors, and to reduce their sense of isolation. - To change the societies perception of disability. - To provide support for the existing working team at the center.

الأنشطة:

The target groups are children with are children with specific disabilities(deaf and dumb children, children having speak problems& simple disabilities) from two years and a half up to fifteen years old, to whom we offer academic training. Also we refer to vocational training, where the priority is for students residing in Tyre area and its camps, and the students who have financial problems preventing them to register in specialized indoor schools that are usually expensive. Some difficulties rise during the project implementation , where some parents are unable to pay the cost of the child case diagnosis, in addition to the deficiency in specific cases specialists in the area which in turn prevents the disabled from any rehabilitation.
