Jounieh Municipality - About

The municipality of Jounieh is located in the Kaza of Kesrouane one of is one of the eight mohafazats (governorates) of Lebanon. Article 1 of Legislative Decree No. 118 of 30 June 1977 states that the municipality is a local government. Its enjoys financial autonomy and power of self-management.The current council was elected in 2010, and has been striving to work on its 5 track development strategy: Balanced development, Environmental regeneration, Citizen Participation, Infrastructure rehabilitation
