Empowering Children And Adolescents To Fight Against Violence In Lebanon
A core group of children and adolescents at risk will be identified through specific activities such as recreational activities or drama. Focus groups, art therapy, and individual counseling will be conducted by a psychologist towards this core group.
Parents will be involved through all phases of the project through different gathering events, outings and working groups organized by the centers.
Lastly, a group of Youth Leaders will be trained to conduct peer to peer sensitization in schools. Sustainability of the project will also be ensured through advanced training of Amel medical staff on detection and referral of the cases of violence in the home.
This project should benefit to 228 children and 70 families.
