Zoukak Workshops: Call for Applications 2017 - 2018 
“Zoukak Workshops” is a four-year program launched by Zoukak Theatre Company and Cultural Association, consisting in series of drama therapy workshops with children and youths and training sessions with theatre practitioners in psychosocial intervention techniques. The workshops take place several times per year, in cycles of three months each, and are offered free-of-charge.

«ورشات زقاق» هو برنامج ورشات في المسرح العلاجي وتدريبات مسرحيّة مختصّة ستقدّمه فرقة زقاق المسرحيّة على مدى أربعة أعوام للشباب والأطفال والفاعلين المختصّين في مجال التدخّلات النفس-إجتماعيّة مجاناً دون رسوم اشتراك. ستقام الورشات عدّة مرّات كلّ عام ضمن دورات من ثلاثة أشهر لكلّ ورشة.

ZOUKAK WORKSHOPS: TRAINING OF THEATRE PRACTITIONERS 
Training of Theatre Practitioners
(in Pyschosocial Intervention Techniques)
 Zoukak is launching its second cycle of the program by offering a training for theatre practitioners in psychosocial intervention techniques. The training will be led by Zoukak’s team of professional facilitators who have an experience of over ten years in leading drama therapy and psychosocial interventions with marginalized communities across Lebanon and abroad.
Location: Zoukak Studio, Karantina, Beirut
Dates: From October 2017 to January 2018
Participation fee: free-of-charge
Duration: 48 hours (12 sessions of 4 hours each)
Frequency: One session per week
Number of participants: 20
Who can apply? 
Practitioners working with children and youths: educators, therapists, psychologists, social workers, activity leaders and artists experienced in psychosocial artistic mediation techniques.  
The selection criteria is based on:
- The motivation and ability to commit to the required time needed;
- Previous or/and current field work with children and youths.
Which techniques will be used?
The TTP is built around 3 parallel directive lines:
- The direct experimentation of the psychosocial intervention technique, which allows each trainee to discover the work and experience it on a personal level;
- The practical and theoretical acquisition of the technique with a focus on the different technical and pedagogical levels involved, and the adaptation of these tools to the trainee’s personal field of work;
- The analysis of case-studies, sharing examples of experiences from the field, and advice on safe practice; exposing the trainee to possible situations and challenges where he/she has to position him/herself in relation to the group. 
At the end of the program, practitioners will:
 - Acquire tools of story building, storytelling, body movement, voice training, creative writing and performance building, with a clear understanding of their aims in order to be able to design psychosocial interventions accordingly;
- Acquire writing skills to note and maintain a log of the psychosocial artistic mediation exercises, focusing on the “set of rules” defining each exercise;
- Acquire facilitation skills to ensure neutrality and active listening;
- Use the artistic mediation exercises’ rules to manage the group dynamic and to deal with children and youths with hyperactivity, strong leadership, introversion and difficulties of expression;
- Be able to resolve conflicts through working on the group dynamic;
- Develop the required attitude to co-lead a psychosocial intervention and to foster collective positive critical thinking around the fieldwork;
- Acquire reporting and proposals writing skills;
- Be informed about policies of international funding and the technical vocabulary related to it;

التدريب المسرحي المختصّ في تقنيّات التدخّل النفسي-الإجتماعي
 تستكمل زقاق هذا البرنامج في دورته الثانية بتقديم ورشة التدريب المسرحي المختص في تقنيّات التدخّلالنفسي-الإجتماعي. يديرهذه الورشة أخصّائيين من فرقة زقاق لديهم ما يفوق العشر سنوات من الخبرة في المسرح العلاجي وفي قيادة التدخّلات النفس-اجتماعيّة مع مجتماعات ومجموعات مهمّشة في لبنان والعالم.

تتوجّه هذه الدعوة إلى الفاعلين في مجال العمل مع الأطفال والشباب من مختصّي التربية والمعالجين وعلماء النفس والعاملين الإجتماعيّين وقادة الأنشطة والفنّانين من أصحاب الخبرة في استخدام تقنيّات الوساطات الفنيّة النفسيّة-الإجتماعيّة.

التقنيّات التي سيتم استخدامها في هذه الورشة
تم تصميم هذه الورشة بالإستناد إلى ثلاثة خطوط توجيهيّة متوازية:
- الإختبار المباشر لتقنيّات التدخّل النفسي-الإجتماعي الذي يسمح للمتدرّبين استكشاف العمل واختباره عمليّاً على المستوى الفردي.
- الإكتساب النظري والعملي للتقنيّة مع التركيز على مختلف المستويات التقنية والتربويّة المتضمّنة وملاءمة هذه الأدوات مع مجال العمل الخاص بكل متدرّب
- تحليل ودراسة حالات محدّدة ومشاركة خبرات من ميدان العمل وتقديم النصائح حول الممارسة الآمنة للتقنيّة: تعريض المتدربين عمليّاً إلىأوضاع وتحديّات محتملة تدفعهم إلى أخذ المواقف والخيارات اللّازمة بالعلاقة مع المجموعة.
يكتسب المتدربون مع نهاية البرنامج:
-  الأدوات المتعدّدة في تأليف وإخبار القصص والتدريب الحركي الجسدي والصوتي والكتابة الإبداعيّة وتأليف العروض المسرحيّة، بالاضافة إلى فهم واضح لأهداف هذه الأدوات من أجل التمكّن من تصميم التدخّلات النفسيّة-الإجتماعيّة
- المهارات الكتابيّة المناسبة لتدوين وحفظ تمارين التدخّلات النفسيّة-الإجتماعيّة مع التركيزعلى «مجموعة القواعد» التي تحدّد كلّ تمرين
- مهارات التيسيرالتي تضمن مبادئ الحياد والإستماع الفعّال
- القدرة على استعمال قواعد تمارين الوساطة الفنيّة في إدار ةديناميّة المجموعة والتعامل مع الأطفال والشباب الذين يتميّزون بالحركة المفرطة وحسّ القيادة المفرط وصعوبة التعبير.
- القدرة على حل النزاعات من خلال العمل على ديناميّة المجموعة
- القدرة على تطوير الأساليب المناسبة للمشاركة في قيادة التدخّلات النفسيّة-الإجتماعيّة وتشجيع التفكير النقدي الجماعي البنّاء حول الميدان العملي
- مهارة كتابة التقارير والتعرّف على عمليّة وضع مقترحات المشاريع
- فرصة التعرّف على سياسات التمويل العالمية والمصطلحات التقنية المرتبطة بها
