PURPOSE OF POSITION

The purpose of the position is to serve as the primary link between the WV program and local stakeholders and communities. The job holder facilitates the community-led initiatives to improve and sustain the well-being of children and their families. A development facilitator acts as a partnering facilitator and helps partners build on their existing strengths and assets and facilitate links to technical support from WV and other sources.

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The purpose of the position is to coordinate the implementation of the “Education Coordinator” program in putting together project goals that meets World Vision standards and policies in addressing refugee needs in a sustainable manner that leaves considerable positive impact on the targeted beneficiaries.

This position will contribute to implementation of the external engagement strategy and advocacy plan of World Vision Lebanon. It will re-enforce WVL’s ability to credibly engage with national and local stakeholders (governmental entities, coalitions, civil society organizations, etc) helping WV leverage its presence, results and brand to ensure the following:

Influence policies on child-wellbeing issues prioritized in WVL National Strategy (through policy briefs, research, campaigns, etc)

Linking local level issues to national level policy change

Candidate required to support with 3 areas needs assessment and design in Beirut & Mount Lebanon. The Casual workers will be trained on the community mobilizers, focus group discussions, and projects tools.

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The purpose of the position is to implement the WASH Hygiene and Sanitation interventions within World Vision’s Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) program in the Bekaa, to improve the hygiene aspects of the target population.

1) Card and pin distributions

2) Validation

3) Data gathering through household visits and focus group discussions;

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Position is required full-time, working within the program management hub, reporting to the Chief of Party, with a dotted line to the WV Syria Response finance director. The Madad Grant Finance coordinator or manager will be responsible for supporting the CoP in managing the grant/programme budget within approved spending levels, ensuring accurate and timely financial reports to WV Germany/WV Switzerland and Steering Committee as well as providing analysis of the financial project status.

Main tasks required:
Under the quick impact projects for MADAD program, the report produced for Sin El Fil made a finding of three main concerns related to Public Spaces, Public Safety and Public Transport. Youth came up with an intervention of designing a mobile based application which is currently being finalized by “Multiframes” and will be jointly done with the municipality, where everyone can access information about services in the city, daily events happening around the city, a page where incidents and the like can be reported to the city and finally a hotline.
