Description: 

Under the supervision of Communication Officer (Digital Media), the National UN Youth Volunteer Communication Associate – Community Management and Social Media Listening will:

•    Monitor daily and in a timely manner all comments and messages received on UNICEF Lebanon social media platforms, including FB, Instagram, twitter and YouTube;  

•    Flag any reputation risk identified among the messages received on timelines or private messages and that needs to be addressed;

•    Respond effectively to all questions received, as well as to the negative comments, according to UNICEF’s FAQs guidance;  

•    Support with drafting engaging and insightful responses that strengthen the brand positioning and advocates for the rights of the child;

•    Support with creating effective strategies to deal with online criticism and minimize the reputational damage/risk;

•    Gather and archive all the formulated responses for the different type of questions/comments received on UNICEF Lebanon main social media platforms;

•    Provide daily insights on the messages and feedback received on UNICEF social media channels;  

•    Monitor daily the social media scenery and run the social media listening tool to identify the online conversations in accordance to children’s and UNICEF priorities;

•    Develop weekly social media listening reports and highlight the online conversations in relation to UNICEF Lebanon key priorities and share insights;

•    Produce weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on moderation statistics, issues, outcomes and effectiveness of moderation, including relevant number of comments received, sentiment and response rate;   

•    Track comments from influential people e.g. celebrities and journalists and assess their impact on advocating for child rights issues;

•    Maintain the Moderation Guidelines and ensure they are up to date and uphold a high standard of accuracy and quality;

•    Any other related tasks as may be required or assigned by the supervisor;
