TEC is seeking an entrepreneurial, strategic, and value-driven full time  Intrapreneurship Program Coordinator to serve as an integral part of the program leadership team, focused on empowering and building the capacity of young Tripolitans.

The program will address one of the most pressing problems in our community - brain drain and youth underemployment & unemployment - through capacity development, mindset shift, and access to hands-on professional opportunities as well as market linkages.

Responsibilities

1) Planning and Coordination

  • Developing & Maintaining project plans (action plans & schedules, procurement plans, and M&E plans)
  • Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective
  • Assessment of community and target segment needs to ensure matching of offered services
  • Organizing, attending and participating in stakeholder meetings and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings
  • Providing administrative support as needed

2) Ensuring Timely & Effective Implementation

  • Ensuring projects deadlines are met
  • Develop along with Impact Officer tools to validate and verify the quality of program activities
  • Undertaking projects tasks as needed
  • Validate and verify the quality of program implemented against agreed results on an ongoing basis.

3)  Managing & Tracking Resources

  • Managing & Coaching Program staff
  • Follow up on procurement of program related services & assets
  • Track Expenditures & control assigned budget

4) Documenting, Reporting & Presenting

  • Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project
  • Accountable to ensure compilation and sharing of reports such as;
  • o Bi-Monthly Narrative Progress Report
  • o Bi-Annually Narrative Progress Report
  • Develop presentations for a range of audiences, including the senior management, board members, and donors with a focus on actionable recommendations to address programmatic needs and risks

5) Support to Other functions

  • Participation in training programs organised by Programs team
  • Support to other teams and functions such as Marketing and Community Development Teams

Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience in the field of project coordination/management
  • Impact-driven and self-motivated  
  • Must have excellent organizational skills as well as time & personal management skills
  • Knowledge of budgeting, bookkeeping and reporting
  • Ability to work on both operational and strategic levels
  • Previous experience working with nonprofit sector preferred
  • Fluency in English written, read, and spoken
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft excel and high computer literacy
  • Ability to liaise with international organizations, and local partners
  • Preferable BS/MA degree in Social Sciences, Education, Statistics or Economics, however all backgrounds are encouraged to apply
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills in a team setting
