Job brief

We are looking for an Impact Officer that will ensure we are delivering the right impact and matching the needs of the community we serve in the best possible way.  

The Impact officer will track the quality and progress of the programs and their key indicators through in-depth research, collecting and analyzing the data required for monitoring and evaluation purpose, and presenting actionable recommendations to ensure better quality programs and services.

Responsibilities

1) Planning and Review

  • Review of the programs annual plan and revise programmatic objectives progress in coordination with the Programs Manager
  • Develop tools to validate and verify the quality of program activities
  • Assessment of community and target segment needs to ensure matching of offered services

 

2) Monitoring and Analysis of Program Data Collection

  • Lead the collection of program information on key indicators from the participants, trainers, coaches, & mentors, community, and other relevant stakeholders for enhancement of the program.
  • Prepare & Train the staff in collecting various data, such as baseline, midterm evaluation studies, pre-test, post test, etc

 

3) Monitoring of Program process

  • Process validation and checking on Programs activities
  • Validate and verify the quality of program implemented against agreed results on an ongoing basis.

 

4) Reporting & Presenting

  • Directly responsible to ensure compilation and sharing of reports such as;

o Monthly Monitoring Report

o Monthly Narrative Progress Report

  • Responsible to develop Quarterly & Annual Impact Report and conclude programmatic recommendations 
  • Develop presentations for a range of audiences, including the senior management, board members, and donors with a focus on actionable recommendations to address programmatic needs and risks

5) Support to Other functions

  • Participation in training programs organised by Program team
  • Coordinate with partners and donors when necessary
  • Support to other teams and functions such as Marketing and Community Development Teams

 

Requirements

  • Impact-driven and self-motivated 
  • Ability to work on both operational and strategic levels
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft excel and high computer literacy
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to liaise with international organizations, and local partners
  • Preferable BS/MA degree in Social Sciences, Education, Statistics or Economics, however all backgrounds are encouraged to apply
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills in a team setting
