Finance Manager

We are looking for a reliable Financial Manager that will ensure the financial health of the organization. 
The duties will vary from low level operational & accounting procedures to high level strategic guidance. The Finance Manager will be expected to analyze financial activities and provide advice and guidance to upper management on current and future financial plans and procedures.

Responsibilities: 
- Oversee operations of the organization on the finance level, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
- Develop projects budgets as well as co-create long-term organizational level budgets with upper management
- Build and manipulate models for scenario planning
- Ensuring that all transactions are properly accounted for and the financial systems are maintained, under all procedures and controls
- Monitor cash and budgets and ensure that budget overruns do not occur
- Develop and share internal and external financial reports
- Adapt the organization’s procurement & finance procedures to meet new donors & partners guidelines 
- Development of presentations for a range of audiences, including the senior management, board members, and donors with a focus on actionable recommendations to address needs and risks
- Develop trends and projections for the organization finances.
Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
- Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
- Correspond with various teammates discussing company strategic and operational plans

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the financial sector with previous possible roles such as Finance Manager, Finance Officer or Financial Analyst
- Proficient user of finance & accounting softwares
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Able to guide and lead team mates to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
- Ability to work on both operational and tactical levels 
- A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
- Ability to liaise with financial institutions, international organizations, and local partners 
- Working knowledge of all legislation and regulations
- BS/MA degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- Professional qualification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus
- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills in a team setting, especially in situations where team members are not direct reports
