Case Worker-2

- Identify individual cases in collaboration with CP north Bekaa team and through regular presence in the community
- Accept referrals from other agencies and community partners
- Provide individual case management for children and their families in accordance with all case management steps and related tools and procedures
- Ensure the correct documentation and compilation of CM forms in accordance with all case management steps and related tools and procedures
- Update regularly the database to ensure a comprehensive record of the database
- Ensure that all cases are addressed immediately and shared with the supervisor
- Work closely with the other organization in order to ensure smooth referral
- Participate actively in weekly case management team meetings
- Provide ongoing support to families, foster and alternative care systems
- Communicate regularly with supervisor, CM Project Manager and CM Specialist for updates on achievements and challenges
- Collaborate closely with the other members of the CM team and the CP team
- Directly communicate with other caseworkers and service providers as part of conducting individual case management
- Regularly attend case management meetings at field level
- Consistently and proactively monitor/assess the safety and security of field teams; promptly reporting concerns or incidents to management and liaising with community leaders and other external parties as required to maintain/enhance the security environment for programs
- To comply with the TDH-It Code of Conduct
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualification and Experience:
A university degree in social and behavioral sciences, preferably Social Work or Psychology;
At least 1 year of experience in Case Management & field of emergency;
Proven experience in Child Protection;
Ability to work well in a team, under pressure and in response to changing needs;
Experience in and knowledge of the Syrian situation and response is considered a strong asset;
High-level of communication skills;
Commitment to the aims, principles, and values of TDH IT;
Driving license is plus
