Aims of position:
The Case management Team Leader will be responsible to oversee the case management in the South (Tyre, Saida, Nabatiyeh). The Case management Team Leader will be responsible of the effective implementation and proper documentation of all CP cases, through supervision and support of 6 caseworkers.
Duty Details
Directly supervise case workers and community facilitators
Ensure strong cohesion within the team
Ensure strong coordination and links between case workers and community facilitators
Organise staff schedules and monitor their time management
Maintain open and professional relations with team members, promoting a strong team spirit and providing oversight and guidance to enable staff to successfully perform in their positions.
Ensure timely completion and submission of monthly timesheets
probation reviews and annual performance reviews.
Ensure that each caseworker is effectively implementing the case management according to Standard Operating Procedures through regular individual meetings and case reviews with caseworkers. Monitor timescales for response, services follow-up and review of cases.
Ensure cases are receiving appropriate support; and when needed, support individual cases and provide regular monitoring of all aspects of case management services.
Ensure regular review of files and supervision to ensure adherence to procedures - Regularly review the safe and appropriate documentation of CP cases through review of files and databases
Assign and review caseworker’s caseloads to ensure they are manageable
Ensure all children engaged in case management benefit from FPSS
Conduct regularly field visits to properly monitor and support the team
Identify gaps, needs, challenges and propose solutions to the AM
Be the direct support to field staff leaded in managing targets, shape action plans
Ensure that filing on the office is properly done.
Know and comply with the budgetary framework of his/her activities in close coordination and under supervision of the Area Manager
Share with the Area Manager useful information for drawing up the budget
Ensure fleet usage is managed properly with close coordination among different teams (TLs to coordinate and plan accordingly with support of AM).
Compile the CM and FPSS M&E report/ Activity info
Compile CW and community facilitators monthly reports
Review and validate encoding by CW into the CM system
Ensure confidentiality and that data protection and information-sharing protocols are respected.
Monitor and analyse child protection data collected by the Case Management team and provide regular reports to the Manager on caseload numbers (disaggregated by sex, age, risk level, etc.)
Participate in the development of lesson learned and best practices
Receive cases referred from other organisations and follow up / track on cases received from other organisation
Ensure that there is a clear feedback mechanism in place for referrals (with NGO and also UPEL and Himaya)
Contribute in support to CM TO to mapping of services and to the development of referral pathway and Information Sharing Protocol.
In Coordination with CMTO, contribute to case management meetings at least every two weeks with the CM team
Contribue to case conferences for complex and high risk cases.
Directly communicate effectively with other officers and key stakeholders in order to regularly report trends and advocate for the best interests of children
Support the team to link with other teams to ensure a comprehensive answer to needs.
Closely coordinate with the technical department for all matters related to Coaching and technical support.
TL and Technical Officers should exchange regularly (informing always the area manager) to ensure to be on the same line in the support provided to the team and to plan ahead the technical guidance.
Contribute to the development of proposal activities in relation to case Management
Consistently and proactively monitor/assess the safety and security of field teams; promptly reporting concerns or incidents to Tdh management and liaising with community leaders and other external parties as required to maintain/enhance the security environment for Tdh programs
Actively engage in all capacity building opportunities including formal trainings, on the job coaching and peer to peer sessions.
Ensure any child safeguarding concerns are reported and addressed immediately.
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor to enable and develop Tdh programs
Respects the Tdh Child Safeguarding Policy (CSP) and its principles of child protection, ensuring it’s the policy’s implementation and prompt notification of the CSP Focal Point with any information regarding potential breachs of the policy;
Is aware of, abides by and promotes the practices and values set out in all other Tdh policies and procedures such as the Internal Regualtions,
