The Audio Visual Society (AVS) program was launched in 2001 in Beirut. The project allows independent Lebanese audio-visual artists and students, through a yearly membership formula, to create their own audio-visual material using the AVS equipment, to attend workshops offering training on this equipment and seminars related to that field

Overall Objectives: 
To allow interested young people to express themselves with a creative audiovisual language in view of the elaboration of a new strategy for local filmmaking To create a Lebanese audiovisual identity, dealing with current issues. To set the basis of a network of young professionals in the audio visual field.
