OUR MISSION 

The SBThe SBT mission is to advocate for climate change prevention and resilience through administering livelihood / skills-based and social stability programs to youth, women, and people with disabilities and facilitate their access to sustainable employment.

OUR PATHWAY 

SPHERE Building Tomorrow-SBT has worked on several unique contextually tailored activities and partnerships to empower its employees, its beneficiaries, and targeted communities based on their collective and individual needs for employment. SPHERE Building Tomorrow-SBT built these activities with the intention to not only develop, but also provide its beneficiaries intervention and basic protection services and assistance in different geographical areas in North Lebanon, Mount Lebanon, South Lebanon, Beirut, and in Beqaa.

In terms of delivering Livelihood and Social Stability & Protection, SPHERE Building Tomorrow-SBT has been able to establish different non-formal educational training programs, that aim at providing access to employment for vulnerable population, enhancing and empowering youth and women in specific sectors: Agriculture, Water Management, Carpentry, Tailoring, etc.…  such as ‘AFDAL Project, Community Mobilization and Economic Empowerment of Vulnerable Women –Life Skills’, ‘City Full of Life’ ‘Agricultural Therapy Training’, ‘Benefit from Your Garden’, and ‘Sustainability, income generation and job creation through the support of irrigation and water collection infrastructure in Lebanon (Phase IV)’, ‘MIN EL ARED FIDI W STAFIDI’, and ‘HERFE W TEHFE’. Diversified initiatives were executed in educational programs such as the ‘Youth- CHIPS’ Project’, ‘Event Management Training’ and ‘Child Protection Conference’, and ‘Networking Between Partners –Boot camp’ where different members of the community actively engage and participate in activities and discussions.

SPHERE Building Tomorrow-SBT has also been active with regards to programs involving Basic Assistance: Food Security & Cash Assistance through field interventions such as "Together Beirut Rises Again", and campaigns such as 'Spread Love & Hand in Hand’ which were launched to help affected people and SMEs after the 2020 Beirut Blast.
