Fundraising Coordinator

Tasks and responsibilities

• Assist in developing fundraising strategy, including conducting donor mapping, fundraising opportunities and suggesting new actions and initiatives.
• Create and maintain a database of potential, current and past donors including individual donors, association lists, corporate donors…
• Prepare presentations to communicate fundraising program data and engage in direct communication with potential national and regional donors building on the reputation and expertise of the organization.
• Develop solid regular relations with donors including both public and private sectors and establish a sustainable funding base, which take into consideration company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and market interests and match these with areas of work at the association
• Establish KPI tracking for annual revenues and secure both inkind and monetary funds
• Coordinate the different fundraising actions including villages/individual sponsorships, promotional units, faceto-face, on-line and volunteering initiatives.
• Liaise with HR and supervise the work of any additional needs in human resources for fundraising activities and resource mobilization
• Collaborate with the communication and IPD department in raising awareness of the organization’s work and developing organization’s visibility, communication and online presence, in addition to building relations with other organizations
• Coordinate with IPD department on donor relations.
• Planning, monitoring and execution of events that would serve the fundraising within the organization or have onsite revenue generation
• Monitor budgets and expenses reports
• Attend community events, meetings, or conferences to raise organization’s profile through networking at appropriate events, promote organizational goals or solicit donations or sponsorships.
• Secure speakers for charitable events, community meetings, or conferences to increase awareness.
• Liaise with programmes units to strengthen programme visibility to donors through field visits and show case innovative projects, invitations to campaigns and other programme events
