It is within this exciting context that the organization is seeking a new Emergency Response Human Resources Officer for SOS Children’s Villages Lebanon.
EMERGENCY RESPONSE HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER Mission of the position:
The Emergency Response Human Resources Officer’s mission is to ensure efficient and effective HR management and coordination in the ongoing SOS CVI Emergency Response Programme. S/he is responsible for ensuring adherence to internal policies and procedures relevant to HR processes and tools which improves the autonomy, performance and development of staff, thereby contributing to the quality of operations.
Main Tasks:
ð Link Human resources needs of programmes and available funds
ð Provide management and support for the following areas: HR planning and coordination of related activities: Job analysis, recruitment, selection, performance appraisal, compensation, training, internal employee relations, etc. Strategic and annual HR planning and budgeting Hr Steering, controlling and reporting Development and implementation of HR policies, quality standards and tools
ð Ensure that SOS policies and regulations are implemented Perform field visits to the Emergency response programs
ð Perform other duties as required
Requirements: As the ideal candidate you have demonstrated 3 years of work experience in Human resources management, and a Bachelor Degree in the field You are Fluent in English and have Strong IT skills: especially Excel, Word and Outlook You have experience maintaining a warm social climate and strong relationships with colleagues You are a skilled facilitator, stress manager, and have cultural and ethical sensitivity You are open, affable, have a high degree of integrity, and are known for your excellent listening skills. Your peers and colleagues describe you as an organized and meticulous personality, inspirational person who can engage and motivate others, and you are particularly compelling when advocating on behalf of a cause that is close to your heart. You are a strategic thinker and creative problem-solver, and always have your eye on the “big picture”.
