Solidar Switzerland established in 1936 supports the processes of sustainable development, reducing poverty and promoting respect for human rights.  Our field of intervention include: Humanitarian Aid,  Democracy and Participation, Decent Work with cross cutting themes of Disaster Risk Reduction, Gender and Organisational Development. We operate in 12 countries and our humaniatarian assistance focuses on shelter, wash,  non food items,  food assistance and livelihoods.  Solidar Switzerland as part of the Solidar Network has been operating in Lebanon to respond to the Syrian Emergency Response since September, 2012.

Solidar Suisse delivers assistance through its country team (14 staff members) based in Nabatieh, South Lebanon.
