Description:
Responsibilities: (in bullet points)
- Staff management and organization
- Supervise the PSS team
- Organize day-to-day time management and work related to center-based PSS activitiesand outreach activities (incl. development of weekly schedule and staff work plan);
- Receive referrals from different agencies and local actors and provide feedback of actions taken;
- Grants implementation and reporting
- Liaise with partners and communities on areas for PSS interventions – including liaison with communities on mobile activities;
- Assist the Protection Manager in administrative matters related to GBV activities;
- Assist the Protection Manager in reporting of activities regarding PSS activities;
- Write field visit daily and weekly reports on major findings, needs and problems faced;
- Contribute to the overall protection/CS weekly/monthly report underlining protection issues and related trends and figures in coordination with the Protection Manager;
- Propose new activities according to identified needs and suggest solutions for problems encountered with activities;
- Maintain and update database on PSS activities (incl. monitoring data entry on Activity info).
- Technical support
- Provide trainings to PSS team and other Al Moasat staff on PSS activities (incl. PSS curricula for caregivers, men, women, children and adolescent girls, etc.)
- Support in outreach activities, providing information to adolescent girls on activities and services available.
Support staff in the identification of hard to reach girls and vulnerability criteria. - Facilitate life-skills activities targeting adolescent girls with centre based curricula.
- Coordination and representation
- Maintain good relations with local implementing actors, local authorities and other international and local stakeholders;
- Participate in the GBV working Group and other fora established for coordination of GBV activities and interventions.
Any other duties relating to the nature of the job as directed by the Protection Manager
Experience and technical competencies: (include years of experience)
- At least 2-3 years of experience in international organizations and humanitarian settings, specifically working with GBV Program ;
- Experience in managing teams;
- Experience in providing trainings and building capacity of staff.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, respect, non-discrimination and safety of client at all times;
- Computer Literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, creativity and flexibility.
- Comfortable in a multi-cultural environment, flexible and able to handle pressure well.
- Flexibility in working overtime when needed;
- Previous experience in working with Syrian refugees in Lebanon
- Previous experience in working with cases of Child Protection and GBV
