Job Description
We are looking for a professional and creative trainer in the media and communication fields for our media team. You will be facilitating “storytelling and writing” training to a group of 20 individuals for full 4 days where you will support the team to develop advanced experience in the digital storytelling and writing fields as “writing for programs, script, news, articles and reports” using the storytelling techniques.
The trainer will focus on developing and conducting a training for the participants to better understand and get advanced experience in storytelling in the media sector. the training will focus on teaching the participants tools for creating a storyboard focusing on different tools and methods used in storytelling. in addition to that, the trainer will be helping the team in order to put their new tools into the media projects they are producing.
The ideal candidate should possess relevant experience and knowledge of the strengths of the new media platforms. He/she must be a highly motivated individual with experience and passion.
Responsibilities:
To introduce storytelling to the participants and presenting different styles and techniques that fit the objectives of the Media Program.
To support the team in developing better experience in the digital storytelling and writing fields specifically in “writing for programs, scripts, news, articles and reports”.
To teach the participants different ways of creating a content for their programs.
Qualifications:
● Certifications and experience in media and information work.
● Strong facilitation and organizational skills
● Strong interpersonal skill
● Conflict Sensitivity Training is an Asset.
● Experience in conducting trainings.
● Excellent social and personal relationships.
● Excellent communication skills.
● Excellent English technical words knowledge.
Professional Experience:
- minimum 5 years of professional experience in similar specialization.
- Experience and ability to deal with unexpected challenges
- Wide vision about the effective work on social media.
- Possession of a degree in a relevant field.
- Have a high comfort level with social media platforms such as: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal), organizational and interpersonal skills.
