Executive Secretary
The Lebanese People's Aid Organization is a non-governmental organization promoting social solidarity, and works in the field of sustainable human development, respect for human rights and the safeguarding of public freedoms guaranteed by the Lebanese Constitution.The Lebanese People's Aid Organization launched its first interventions in 1972 in the southern of Lebanon, and soon has spread across all Lebanon.The organization is registered under the No. 224. Date of 28 June 1974.In 1975, with the outbreak of war and the collapse of public services, the organization established a number of clinics in various regions, in order to fill the gaps in the social and health sectors, reaching 45 centers in 1976.Today, the organization consists of about 21 branches and various centers across the Lebanese regions.
Najdeh association is seeking an Executive Secretary with the following conditions:
Major Responsibilities:
- Associating the board members in drafting Najdeh programs and projects
- Leading in implementing, monitoring and daily basis coordinating on Najdeh programs\projects and related activities in all Lebanon.
- Drafting and managing grants proposals in coordination with the Board members and concerned Najdeh branches and committees in regions
- Providing high-level coordination, compliance and supervision on all levels and with various stakeholders (local communities, donors, NGO’s, official entities, private sectors…)
- Data entering and managing Najdeh media outlets
- Representing Najdeh whenever and wherever needed
Skills
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, coordinate, multi-task and meet deadlines
- Solid project management skills
- Ability to successfully initiate and maintain positive relationships with Najdeh branches (members and volunteers), Board members, local communities and local and international NGOs
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively in team environment
- Experience in program development, donor compliance, monitoring, evaluating and reporting
- Excellent knowledge of English and Arabic; French is a plus
- Excellent reporting, communication and interpersonal skill
Experience
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in NGO projects management and\or any other related office secretary work
- A bachelor degree in Political sciences, social sciences or any related direct or indirect field
- Full time contract
- 3 months probation period
