We are searching for…
Social media specialist with a main goal to work on developing and implementing the project’s communications strategy as part of a project that aims to promote women’s participation in politics through television drama by:
1) Strengthening the capacity of television professionals to produce gender sensitive programs that promote women’s participation in politics. 
2) Increasing belief of television audiences in women’s political leadership capacity

Your contribution

The roles and responsibilities will likely include:

●      Develop and implement a creative and innovative social media strategy for the project covering a period of the project (during and after the airing of the TV series)

●      Advise on key messaging, platform determination, and targeted audience identification

●      Develop a monthly social media calendar schedule for posts and promotions that assist in building meaningful connections and encourages community members to engage and view the content; including but not limited to 1 post per week for Facebook and Twitter (Search will manage the social media platforms)

●      Assist the team with the organization of events, including planning, media invitations, and follow-up

Minimum of 3-6 years of related experience

  • Experience in communication management;
  • Extensive networking experience;
  • Ability to communicate and edit in English and Arabic;
  • Ability to produce written content for online and offline communications;
  • Strong technical experience with social media;
  • Ethical professional with due diligence given to the sensitivity of project materials;
  • Ability to work collaboratively to create and disseminate communications materials;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines;

Selected consultant is expected to commence her/his mission on the 30th of November 2017.
