ROLE PURPOSE:
The Digital and Multimedia Officer is responsible for managing Save the Children Lebanon social media accounts and producing visual materials (photos & videos). In addition, s/he will Identify and maximize opportunities to raise the visibility and profile of Save the Children's programs both in country and internationally

SCOPE OF ROLE:
Reports to; Media, Advocacy and Campaigns Manager

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
Digital Media:
- Produce high quality content for SCI Lebanon website and digital presence
- Develop content plans to ensure an excellent online user journey
- Evaluate the use of content and digital channels using data to drive and support decision-making on a regular basis to encourage innovation
- Deliver trainings and guidance on digital content to colleagues across SCI Lebanon with a range of experience and expertise
- Ensuring content adheres to appropriate policies of SCI, and that necessary checks happen before publishing
- Research and explore new social media avenues and opportunities
- Track and analyse responses to social media content, and develop succinct reports highlighting trends and recommendations
- Develop social media strategies to expand our reach and impact through social media channels
- Identify key social influencers who we can engage with
- Produce regular reports on social media performance
Multimedia:
- Produce visual content (photos, and videos) to support the production of the program related audio-visual in different thematic areas (Education, Health, Youth Development and Child Protection)
- Create visibility items designs
- Create films for SCI Lebanon from start to the end, including shooting, editing and being responsible for overall film creation process and liaising with copywriters
- Script, edit and produce still photography, video and other audio-visual pieces
- Provide editorial guidance, ensuring messages conveyed through audio-visual products are sharp, compelling and current
- Handle outsourcing of audio-visual products as needed by identifying the best creative production partners, and maximize the quality of execution
- Produce graphics for use on social media channels, in emails, and on the website as needed
- Create graphics and multimedia files for use in social media, SCI Lebanon website, traditional media and other platforms
- Field visits to SCI programs inside and outside of informal settlements for photo shooting

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- At least 3 years of experience in digital and multimedia work
- Degree in Media\ Audio visual
- Proven work experience as a digital media officer or digital marketing officer
- Experience producing, editing and disseminating multimedia content for online audiences ideally for media outlets, international brands, political parties, NGOs, or other international institution
- Experience using advanced tools for online publishing, including content management systems and social media authoring tools
- Fluency in Arabic and English
- Very Good written Arabic and English
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office essential; Adobe Photoshop and/or Adobe Premiere Pro an asset). Familiarity with Slack and Trello is an asset
