Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the outreach activities and facilitate the delivery of Psycho Social Support activities for target groups (adolescent girls/boys and caregivers) in Wadi Khaled area.
- Assist the protection assistant in Implementation of psychosocial activities according to the participants’ ages and according to specific Psycho Social Support curriculum.
- Assist in safe space set-up; distribution of refreshments and supplies.
- Collect attendance of participants during the activities, and fill in daily reports as required.
- Promote and ensure beneficiaries’ participation in all activities.
- Support in the outreach of the beneficiaries.
- Accompany participants’ from home to the center and back home inside the titled bus, if requested.
- Identify materials required for activities and inform the Case Worker for procurement.
- Accomplish individual and collective assignments given by her/his supervisor.
- Positively interact with participants and encourage them to express their needs and ensure their safety.
- Ensure that the participants feel safe, comfortable and respected during activities.
- Ensure that all participants are aware of any accountability/ complaint mechanisms.
- Respect and abide to the organization’s internal code of conduct and policies.
- Report any observed Problem/ need to the Case Worker for necessary support or referral to other supportive network.
Qualifications:
- Very familiar with Wadi Khaled area of implementation
- Experience working with Adolescents
- Social work experience and/or experience in humanitarian work preferably in emergencies
- Ability to work with refugees in underprivileged settings
- Excellent creativity skills
- Excellent communication skills especially with Adolescents
