Fundraising Assistant

Responsibility

Under The supervision and guidance of SANAD’s president,the fundraising assistant will assist in developing, planning and implementing a fundraising strategy with clear objectives and action plans.

    This will include the following key tasks:

• Build on and expand the current fundraising projects, events and activities, outreach and plans. This includes private sector partnerships, individual annual donations, annual fundraising events, boxes allocation, etc.
• Maintain and expand on the Donor Database and ensure continuous communication with them through update reports, newsletters, fundraising events invitations, etc.
• Ensure full-fledged and detailed time-lined action plans for all fundraising projects, events and activities.
• Build on and develop SANAD’s Fundraising presentation packages and format.
• Continuously research and identify new and creative fundraising concepts.
• Write a monthly progress report to the director.

     Qualifications

• Holder of a bachelor degree relevant to the social development field.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience. Volunteer experience is an asset.
• Skills In administrative performance, which includes communication, both written and oral and organizational skills.
• Flexible, proactive, problem solver, trustworthy, and willing to accommodate for difficult and unexpected situations.
• Fluent In Arabic and English. French is an asset.
• Excellent Knowledge of basic computer software such as Word, Excel and power point.
