Call for filmmakers
تعلن مؤسسة روزا لوكسمبورغ- مكتب بيروت عن إطلاقها لبرنامج دعم الأفلام الوثائقية. هذا البرنامج موجه للمخرجين/ات الشباب من سوريا ولبنان والعراق.
يهدف هذا البرنامج الى إعطاء المخرجين/ت الشباب من سوريا ولبنان والعراق الفرصة للتعبير عن أفكارهم ووجهات نظرهم حول واقعهم الإجتماعي والسياسي، وذلك من خلال الدعم المادي من جهة والدعم التقني والفني (من خلال خبراء في صناعة الأفلام) من جهة اخرى.
تبحث مؤسسة روزا لوكسمبورغ عن مشاريع أفلام تسلط الضوء على مواضيع المنفى والواقع السياسي والاجتماعي في البلدان الثلاثة المستهدفة.

Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung Beirut Office, announces the launch of its Film Program that aims to support documentary films,with the focus on the work of emerging filmmakers from Syria, Lebanon and Iraq.
The program aims to provide newly emerging filmmakers from Lebanon, Syria and Iraq with the opportunity to express their ideas and perspectives on political and social realities through filmmaking. This support is not only financial means but also Technical with the help of professionals in the field of filmmaking.
Through this call, Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung Beirut Office, is looking for film projects that fall under the Theme of“exile, politics and person perspectives/perceptions”.
How to apply
Conditions to apply:
Applicants must be Syrians, Lebanese, or Iraqis.
Films should address the subjects of "exile, politics and person perspectives/perceptions".
Short film projects should not exceed 20 minutes.
The Films must be completed in March 2019.
Exceptions are made for feature film projects that are in the post-production phase.
If you fit the criteria and wish to apply, please send the following info/materials before June 24th 2018 to [email protected] :
Title of the project, duration, and description/long synopsis of the film (Max 1 page).
Biography of the applicant + links to previous works (as applicable).
Detailed budget of the film project.
For Feature films projects, please share the rough cut. "Feature Films projects should be in post-production phase"
شروط التقدم:
أن يكون المتقدم/ة من سوريا أو لبنان أو العراق.
أن ينتهي العمل على الفيلم في شهر آذار ٢٠١٩
أن يكون الفيلم يحاكي مواضيع المنفى /الواقع السياسي الاجتماعي للمتقدم.
أن يكون فيلم وثائقي قصير، لا يتجاوز ال ٢٠د.
نقبل الأفلام الوثائقية الطويلة فقط في حال كانت في مرحلة ما بعد الإنتاج.

اسم المشروع ومدته وملخص/فكرة الفيلم، على أن لا تتجاوز الصفحة الواحدة.
ملخص عن السيرة الذاتية (بايوغرافي) للمخرج/ة + روابط لأعمال سابقة.
ميزانية تفصيلية للفيلم.
راف كات، في حال كان مشروع فيلم طويل(نقبل الأفلام الوثائقية الطويلة فقط في حال كانت في مرحلة ما بعد الإنتاج
