General Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to coordinate with the project assistant on managing activities, resources, and budgets
  • Provide guidance for project staff and follow-up on the implementations of activities
  • Report to the main office on the operational and financial progress
  • Plan and implement activities and training sessions 
  • Plan, design community support projects and events
  • Attend regular monthly meetings with RET team in Beirut
  • Ensure proper coordination with local authorities and community leaders
  • Identify challenges and limitations and suggest lessons learned and best practices at the areas of implementations
  • Comply with internal policies, and ensure that activities comply code of conduct and manual
  • Reach out to host communities and Syrian refugees’ youth in Tripoli & surroundings
  • Reach out to associations and institutions in Tripoli & surroundings that are influential in dealing with youth in dire conditions.
  • Conduct interviews for data collection and outreach
  • Assess beneficiaries’ needs based on the data collected
  • Create and classify files of each case (if needed)
  • Promote and ensure their attendance to the sessions/trainings held.
  • Conduct interviews to assess people’s current situation.
  • Conduct field visits when necessary (home visit, school, hospital, etc.) to understand the individual’s situation within his living environment.
  • Provide social support to beneficiaries along with social services based on available resources.
  • Promote the development and autonomy of people by providing social support to facilitate their integration, adaptation, rehabilitation at the workplace.
  • Collaborate with SW colleagues to idenify participants for the sessions.
  • Conduct working groups with adolscent girls and women.
  • Accompany beneficiaries during activities.
  • Ensure proper follow-up on all actions to be considered for individual cases till achieving desired results.
  • Participate in training, conferences and attend meetings
  • Refer cases to the psychologist for counseling and assistance if and when needed.
  • Responsible for RET Liban, donor, and partners' visibility. 
  • Monitor all field activities and monitor progress on Tripoli & surroundings, Donnieh, and Qalamoun
  • Assess, plan, and implement activities in coordination with the SDC centers in Qobbeh and others.
  • Data Entry (if needed)

Qualifications:

  • Preferably university degree in any related field
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in working in the fields of social stability, community projects and livelihoods
  • Experience in working with youth
  • Fluent in Arabic; English is a plus
