Restart Center: Psychosocial Rehabilitation Center In Beirut-Lebanon

The proposed Project aims at contributing to upgrading the mental and psycho-social wellbeing of Iraqi refugees and their families in Lebanon in a comprehensive modular inter-disciplinary approach.

Overall Objectives: 
This will be achieved through the following set of specific objectives: 1. Providing free of charge psychosocial rehabilitation services and treatment to Iraqi refugees and their family members who are in need of such program. 2. Upgrading the social integration of Iraqi refugees. 3. Creating a central source of information and statistics on psychosocial problems facing Iraqi refugees and their family members. 4. Developing a network and collaboration systems among non-governmental organizations in Lebanon. 5. Increasing the knowledge of all concerned stakeholders towards the refugees
Activities: 
Activities to be implemented within the context of this project include: 1. Rehabilitation services to Iraqi refugees (psychosocial rehabilitation) 2. Providing multidisciplinary psychosocial support and treatment of refugee women and their families 3. Providing training to health professionals 4. Building a database on Iraqi refugees
