Essential Functions and Areas of Accountability:

  • As requested, ensure providing adequate guidance and monitoring regarding the implementation of the Job Creation Plans which will be directly managed and implemented by the municipalities in the North;
  • Ensure active presence and participation in the regular meetings with municipalities to inform them and discuss job placement opportunities for the program participants and to support the municipality in reaching their objectives;
  • Regularly provide the Municipalities with support for appropriate engagement; the job holder is expected to report any major obstacles to the direct manager within that realm;  
  • Act as a daily key point of contact with the municipal staff to ensure that the proposed activities and plans are implemented in an effective and efficient manner;
  • Actively assist and support the Value Chain Consultant in the process of developing the Job Creation Plans and in the effective and efficient implementation of the approved plans by RI;
  • Support the program team in identifying vocational schools that match the skills of the program-participants;
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism while working or coordinating with the people we serve, their family members, and any internal or external party; any incident or work-related conflict should be immediately reported to the Program Coordinator. The Job holder should avoid going into any work-related communication which might jeopardize the relationship of RI with any party; 
  • The job holder should demonstrate a high level of cultural sensitivity, professionalism, politeness and objectivity when dealing with the people we serve and all internal/external parties under all circumstances; 
  • Responsible for assisting the municipalities in the development of reports as needed; in addition to collecting and compiling the weekly & monthly reports and submission to the Livelihoods Program Coordinator in a timely manner;
    • The job holder must ensure that the reports are developed while emphasizing quality and accuracy at all times.
  • Actively pparticipate in coordination meetings when requested by the Program Coordinator;
