RESPONSABILITIES AND TASKS
Activities implementation
- Conducts meetings with stakeholders, where he/she introduces PU-AMI and its services, and builds strong relationship with them for future collaborative work
- Ensures that the Community Health Workers have the necessary information on the referral systems and provided services within PU-AMI and other stakeholders
- Follows up on the referrals done to other stakeholders and reports them back to the Community Health Zonal Supervisors in the bases
Team Management
- Follows up with the Community Health Zonal Supervisors regarding the planned work between the community team and stakeholders
- Ensures coordination with PU-AMI Staff and stakeholders concerning community intervention activities
- Continuously collects feedback from Community Health Supervisors and Community Health Workers
- Supports Community Health Zonal Supervisors in trainings to the CHWs and covering their long leaves (vacations, etc…) – that is supervision of CHWs in the field, preparing campaigns, reporting, collecting feedback from the CHWs, referrals’ follow-ups, etc…
Logistic & Administration
- Defines the needs in materials and tools required to conduct trainings, health campaigns and outreach activities
- Organizes and coordinates training sessions: venue, attendees, and support materials
Reporting & Data collection
- Responsible for the compilation of the reports on a regular basis and submitting of it to the line manager
- Reports immediately any difficulty or challenges to the direct line manager
- Prepares and fills in the Mapping and Networking database. The database needs to be updated on a regular basis
- Reports back to the CHM in the bases the Positive Referrals done to other stakeholders
specific objective and linked activities
- Provides trainings and capacity building to Community Health Workers
- Directly reports any difficulties or delays in the implementation of activities

PRIORITIES OF THE DEPARTMENT
- understands the host community and the status of the Syrian refugees distribution and context
- provides consolidated and quality reports on a weekly, monthly and compile monthly and annual reports or any ad hoc requested data
- provides continuous feedback to the staff and on line superior on challenges, lessons learnt for continuous improvement on better health care at community level
Mandatory Requirements
- Language skills: Fluent in English and Arabic
- Education degree: University - level in health field --qualification in public health or related field an asset
- Work experience: Proven experience working in NGOs
- Knowledge and skills:
- Good knowledge of Lebanon governorates geography, willing to travel a lot locally
- Excellent experience in conducting trainings and monitoring teams
- Excellent communication (especially in public) and diplomacy skills to manage relationship in potentially tense situations
- Literacy in reporting, experience in conducting surveys
- Computer skills: Excellent knowledge of the MS office software including Word, Excel, Outlook
- Other: Valid driving license (1 year minimum) – driving on a regular basis to meet stakeholders in different areas in Lebanon – covering North, South, Mount Lebanon, and Beirut
