Description: 

Responsible for the communication with suppliers, providers, staff and other stakeholders in terms of logistics in accordance to PCPM’s good-practices and logistics policies. Assists with organizing movements of staff and car vehicle maintenance (first aid kit availability, car documents, trip-tickets etc.).

 

  1. Manages incoming calls and inquiries and keeps the tracking sheet up to date.
  2. Supports conducting assessments to report on the situation in the field, the location through ODK Collect, KoBo Toolbox and other software for data collection (e.g. for fire risk assessment). Ensures that all information is properly recorded, and communication is circulated by official channels (emails and letters). Reports findings and identified needs to the line manager.
  3. Drafts weekly reports and assists in improving the projects’ implementation. Provides the line manager with suggestions and solutions to manage any type of problem encountered in the field or reported through the hotlines.
  4. Supports PCPM Field Office in Qobayat during signing cash-based donation agreements in municipalities, during delegation and official monitoring visits.
  5. Coordinates with the suppliers and providers to assess the market and collect quotations. Provides PCPM with relevant invoices and financial reports. Obtains approval from the line manager for procurements to support PCPM’s operations in Akkar (including telecommunications, stationaries for the 
    office etc.).
  6. Assists in revising and improving the logistics policies and procedures in liaison with the Security Officer.

Qualifications and requirements

  1. National Staff Position (only Lebanese citizens are eligible to apply)
  2. Two years of relevant job experience
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  4. Strong computer skills
  5. Strong planning and organizational  skills
  6. Proficiency in Arabic and English; French or Polish is an asset
  7.  Valid driving license.
