Invitation to Bid: Provision of Short-term Vocational Training in Bekaa (Taanayel), and north Lebanon (Minieh and Berkayel)

With funding from US BPRM, the Near East Foundation (NEF) is currently implementing a project assisting vulnerable Lebanese and Syrians.  Under the project, NEF intends to support 278 persons in north Lebanon (Minieh and Berkayel) and 139 persons in central Bekaa with vocational training during the period from 11 February – 24 April 2019.  Each training is expected to be between 40-50 hours, maximum 10 consecutive days in duration.

1. Tender Document: Interested service providers are to download Annex A (attached) which requires the following information:

 

  • Vocational training topics provided, and in which of the three locations.
  • Dates when training can be provided.
  • Total and breakdown of cost per person.
  • Minimum number of participants required for each training topic.

 

The attached Annex A outlines the topics NEF would like information on.  NEF also encourages service providers to list other training topics they can deliver during 11 February – 24 April.

 

In order to evaluate bids, service providers are requested to also submit a detailed training agenda with the attached document.  NEF will likely request a copy of training curriculum at a later date.

 

2. Tender Process:   Interested and eligible service providers are requested to submit their offers in person in a sealed envelope to:

3. Closing Date:  Deadline for bids submission is Saturday, 2 February 2019 at 17:00.   All bids submitted after that date and time will be rejected.   Interested and eligible service providers can email [email protected] for questions and/or clarification.
