Description:

The Nawaya Network invites proposals from international service design firms interested in partnering with us to use human-centered design to revise a training of trainer’s curriculum and deliver the ToT in Lebanon for an Entrepreneurship Program that focuses on developing the entrepreneurial skills of vulnerable youth and supporting them in establishing micro-enterprises . The project is expected to start on the 10th of December 2018 and is expected to run for two months.

We are searching for the right partners who are motivated and excited about a co-creation approach to developing content that will truly meet the needs of marginalized Lebanese and non-Lebanese youth.

This concretely means that we would like to do the following:

  • Revise the current Entrepreneurship Curriculum (EC) and Training of Trainer’s Curriculum (TOT)]
  • Develop a structure for the Training of Trainers(ToT) sessions that are planned to take place between 8-18 January 2019. The ToT will include following components:
  1. Youth protection and referral pathways – 1 day - UNICEF
  2. Overview of the GIL programme and the global and local startup ecosystem- 1/2 day – UNICEF
  3. Positive Leadership Life Skills Training – 1 day - UNICEF
  4. Walk through of the EC content – the firm is expected to prepare all material prior to the ToT. This objective of these sessions is to incorporate facilitators’ feedback into the content, determine which parts need to be revised and edited, determine which parts need to translate and come up with a worksheet populated with examples, links and resources for facilitators to use – 5 days – Commissioned Firm

1st Deliverable (20th December): The firm is expected to submit a revised version of the curricula and to design the ToT worksheets, presentations and agenda based on key informant interviews with programme stakeholders.

2nd Deliverable (8-18th January): The firm is expected to facilitate the EC related part of the ToT and take notes to later incorporate feedback into the final revision of the content.

3rd Deliverable (5 February): The firm is expected to deliver the final content [Entrepreneurship Curriculum & all material] based on the feedback received during the ToT.
