NAHNOO is a nonsectarian and nonpartisan youth-lead organization that aspires to provide a platform for young Lebanese to engage in activities that promote self-development and self-expression and gain the skills necessary to contribute to their communities meaningfully and peacefully. Through its main advocacy campaigns to promote public spaces and good local governance through Lebanon and through discussion groups, social events, and workshops on topics such as advocacy, effective communication, conflict resolution, and dialogue management, Nahnoo engages a diverse group of Lebanese youth and acts a space for free expression and the exchange of ideas.
Job Description:
We are looking for an ambitious Digital Communication specialist to:
- Develop brand awareness and online reputation
- Manage social content and posting strategies over our social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube)
- Launch and manage our upcoming media campaigns
Key Responsibilities:
- Digital presence development by Designing and implementing social media content and publishing strategies based on our advocacy goals through research, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification.
- Identify target audiences: Monitoring insights, statistics and engagement indicators over our social media pages to improve our reach and visibility.
- Generate, edit, publish and share interactive daily content in Arabic and to a lesser extent in English (original text, images, video or links) that builds meaningful connections and encourages communities to take action on our causes.
- Community management: Promptly responding to comments and messages in a professional manner adhering to our social media guidelines.
- Monitoring responses to our Social posts.
- Editing video/radio interviews and uploading them on our YouTube channel.
- Devising and coordinating photo opportunities to document and highlight our projects and activities.
- Continuously improving reach by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices.
- Create a regular publishing schedule by implementing a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns.
- Assisting in organizing events and usage of new digital broadcasting and sharing tools, during our events on our Facebook pages.
- Promote content through targeted social advertising.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven working experience in social media or related field.
- Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills.
- Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.
- Familiar with ROI measurement tools Working knowledge of principles of SEO including keyword research and Google Analytics.
- Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing Good level of written and spoken Arabic and English.
- Good attention to detail.
- Good at working in a team.
- Good independent research skills.
