Technical Center For Training And Rehabilitation Of The Blind
Through the use of advanced technology, the center aims at preparing and rehabilitating the blind to guarantee them better chances to enter the job market. The importance of the initiative lies in the fact that there are no other similar institutions in South Lebanon, the Lebanese region that has been suffering from invasion and its consequences, that take care of the blind.
Overall Objectives:
To guarantee the blind better chances to enter the job market, to have equal chance in learning computer and advanced technology, especially that this technology is very expensive to get.
Activities:
1- Typing Braille books, all year training sessions for the blind.
2- Training UNRWA students with special needs.
