What is an official member of an NGO?

Members of Min ila are registered officially as part of the General Assembly. They constitue the electoral body which elects a Board of Directors that runs the operations of Min ila. As soon as you become part of the General Assembly, you can propose your candidature to become part of the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors has 5 position: President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Accountant and Secretary. 

What will your role be?

As a member who beleive in our mission, you will provide your time, knowledge and expertise to help expand Min ila's programs and impact. You will participate in meetings and engage in activities you like, propose new ideas, connect with Min ila's community and promote the work we do. Members are the engine behind Min ila to help it grow and expand.

What profiles are we looking for?

We are trying to expand the General Assembly and recruit people who beleive in our mission and vision. We are looking for diverse backgrounds such as education, psychology, design, finance, engineering, public policy, music, arts, sports. Every person is an important resource for Min ila and can present his/her experience and expertise to the benefits of Min ila. Yound people between 21 and 30 years old are very much encouraged to join.

Being part of the assembly is a way of giving back to your country and beleving that citizenship education is a good approach to that. At the same time, you will meet new people, expand your public relations, get in touch with beneficiairies, attend events, participate in conferences in Lebanon and abroad, have access to training, etc. 

Membership Fees

As part of the General Assembly, members are encouraged to pay a symbolic fees of 100,000 LBP per year to contribute to the running costs of Min ila. This fee is renewed every year and is as well negotiable and a waiver can be applied especially for students.
