KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Data collection
    1. Assist with the development of monitoring questionnaires in partnership with the health team.
    2. Collect qualitative and quantitative data on project performance indicators (this may include the Perception Survey, the SDC staff survey, PSS patient monitoring, and the patient Exit Survey at the clinic level, and the Behaviour Change Communication survey for Syrian refugees and vulnerable Lebanese at the community level).
    3. Assist with the development of a data collection Standard Operating Procedure.
    4. Train, assist, and monitor enumerators, as applicable, on surveys, data collection and best practices in the field.

 

  1. Data cleaning
    1. Ensure all health data collected is reviewed, cleaned, and then uploaded.
    2. Reporting any technical issues to the Monitoring & Evaluation Officer.
    3. Assist with development of a data cleaning Standard Operating Procedure.

 

  1. Data analysis and communication
    1. Draft analysis reports based on quantitative and qualitative data collection.
    2. Communicate findings to promote learning and adaptation within the programme.

 

  1. Complaints and response mechanism
    1. Assist with the development, review and maintenance of a functioning complaints and redress mechanism at clinic and field level.

 

  1. Tablet and phone hardware management
    1. Manage daily sign in and sign out of tablets.
    2. Ensure that updated survey forms are uploaded on tablets.
    3. Ensure tablets are properly charged and reported.

 

  1. Be flexible, willing to assist in other areas of work as relevant and needed.

 

  1. Maintain transparent, honest and supportive communications with the Medair team and beneficiary communities.

 

QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor’s degree in health related field

- Experience in qualitative and quantitative data collection in the field of health programming

- Word and Excel knowledge and experience

- Good oral and written communication

- At least 1 year of related professional experience

 

Clear communicator, skilled in oral and written communication

- Excellent capacity to sensibly respond to beneficiary questions and complaints.

- Able to oversee multiple tasks.

- Excellent interpersonal skills.

- Aptitude for community mobilization and capacity-building.

- Ability to cooperate with a team

- Flexible in working hours and willing to work in remote areas.

- Ability to facilitate programme and community interactions regardless of ethnicity, status, gender, origin or affiliation.

- Sensitive to cross cultural issues.
